Cruising Since 1997

Since 1997, The Pelican Breeze Foundation has offered unforgettable experiences and education on Albert Lea Lake.

Join us for a relaxing and informative experience aboard our 60' paddle-wheel replica boat. The mission of our organization is to promote the use and education of Albert Lea Lake.

The Pelican Breeze Foundation is a non-profit organization. Patrons from many countries have enjoyed the summer serenity.

The members volunteer much of their time to manage and maintain the operations and boat. If you are interested in joining, we'd love to chat!

Fleet

Our Vessel

This is the second boat that we have owned. Ask your first mate where you can find the first one!

Generous donors gave more than $20,000 in 2023 to help pay for the new dock, a motor, and more.

There are 11 tables fixed in position. With seating for 55.

What Can I Bring?

You are welcome to bring aboard any food or beverage of your choice!

Pack a picnic. Bring your cooler.

Please do consider others you might be sharing a table with.

We recommend wearing layers as the wind can be chilly.

Amenities

The boat is equipped with all the safety items needed. This open-air tri-tune boat offers a blend of comfort, style, and breathtaking views. We do not permit smoking. But you are welcome to walk around while underway.

Wheelchair access is easy. And there is a restroom on board and onshore.

Parking is nearby at the boat launch or at the side of the road; please avoid the grass.
